| This shows a bottle labeller. A jar is being
carried on a 16 stage turret. Each stage can be oriented with
a cam track that is positioned beneath the stage and out of
sight. Because the jar must completely rotate a number of times,
the cam track is reasonably complex. The cam followers are arranged
in two layers as a maltese cross. The track cams at each layer
must cross-over a number of times. Here we have shown only one
cam layer - with another cam layer not shown. |
