Short Cut: Shift+Ctrl+O or
This command opens an existing motion file (which may contain one or more motions), which is(are) appended to the set of motions that you already have open in your current motion design session.
Use this tool to open a previously saved or copied MotionDesigner file with the .mtd file extension and add them to the motions currently being edited.
A single MotionDesigner .mtd file can have any number of motions - from one to many.
It is therefore convenient to have the many motions you need to design for a single machine in one .mtd file.
The files you have open already in MotionDesigner, remain in the session and are not lost.
You can also open a motion with a .shp file extension.
The .shp file extension is for files created in Motion4, a product no longer commercially available.
Unlike MotionDesigner .mtd files, .shp files can only ever have a single motion design.
You must repeatedly use this command to add .shp files to your session.
