Tools | Data Transfer | Get Segment Data
see also: Get Motion Data, Get List Data, Put List Data
Short Cut: Use the
icon found in the Data Transfer form.
This function copies the data values of the selected segment into the cells of the Data Transfer "worksheet".
The number of rows and data points will be equivalent to the (Segment Width * Number-of-Steps / Total Motion Width*).
The number format of the data will be the same as that given in the Data Format form of the Settingsdialogue.
The data units will be same as set in the X-Units and Y-Units boxes in the Motion form of the Settings dialogue.
The number of data columns will always include the X data as the first column (which is equivalent to the cam-angle or time etc) PLUS the data for the graphs you are showing at the time you use this function.
This data is listed in 5 columns:
The column labelled X, is the X-axis data.
The column labelled Pos. is the Position data.
The column labelled Vel. is the Velocity data.
The column labelled Acc. is the Acceleration data.
The column labelled Jer. is the Jerk data.
If the segment is a List Segment type (Position or Acceleration list), then the original "put" data set is ignored and the interpolated data is "got".
* Total Motion Width is the width of each segment added together.
