Blend-Point Editor: Data Fields
The data fields allow you to read and write values for the X and Y values of the selected Blend-Point.
The data fields echo the X or Y Values, as appropriate of the Blend-Point at the left end of the Selected Segment. The data value can be changed using the spin-boxes or can be typed in manually (if typed in, please hit return on the keyboard to enter)
DO NOT CONFUSE THE SPIN BOX INCREMENT VALUE WITH THE DATA FORMAT IN THE SETTINGS TOOL DIALOG.
THE SPIN BOX INCREMENT DETERMINES THE CHANGE MADE TO THE DATA FIELD WITH EACH CLICK OF THE SPIN-BOX.
THE DATA FORMAT DECIMAL PLACES AND SIGNIFICANT FIGURES DETERMINE THE FORMAT OF THE DATA WHEN TRANSFERRED TO THE DATA TRANSFER DIALOG.
If both Blend-Point Editor: In Specify AND the Blend-Point Editor: Out Specify are clicked then the data in the field will correspond to which radio button is asserted.
You can right-mouse-click the data field. The Zero or Round clickable options will appear, as shown.
The "Zero" will allow you to quickly zero the data value.
The "Round" option numerically rounds to the nearest number, using the rounding resolution as specified in the spin-box increment .
