How to Use the Segment Editor
see also: How to Use the Blend-Point Editor

Compared to the Blend-point Editor, the Segment Editor is a piece of cake.

The Segment Editor is always positioned at the bottom of the graphs in its own box.

The Segment Type Selector is at the top of the graphs!, but should still be considered as part of the Segment Editor.

The data displayed in the Segment Editor always applies to the Selected Segment, which is coloured Red.

The following data fields can be edited, depending on the segment type you have selected:
  • Segment Editor: Width
All Segment Types can have their width edited and so this part of the Segment Editor is always shown.
  • Segment Editor: Range
Some "standard" segment types can have their Ranges edited in addition to the segment width.  This does not change the width of the segment.  The range "clips" the start or end of the Standard Segment Type.  The remaining unclipped part stretches to the original segment width.
  • Segment Editor: Parameters
Some other "segment" types can have other parameters edited.
