Short Cut: Alt+R or use the

icon.

Every motion has a name. The default names are: Motion0, Motion1, etc.
You can open as many as you like, but can edit only one at a time.
The names of each motion are given at the top of the graphical area.
You can quickly rename a motion by mouse clicking the

icon. In the image below, the motions have been renamed to SHM and Mod-Sine.

The motion can be named to just about anything you want - such as Pan, Zoom, Left, or Pusher, Lifter, Index, or even, "The motion that gets me from here to there". There is no realistic limit to the length of the motion name.

If you do use a really looooooooooooooooong names, or you have many motion files open, then some motions may "disappear" off to the right of your screen. You can click on the right or left arrow-heads to the right of the motion tab list, to scroll to motions that disappear off to the right or left
