MechDesigner's User Interface
|10 of 10||<< First||< Previous||Back to gallery|
MechDesigner's User Interface is a typical three panel user interface.
The user interface has three panels - as with many other CAD progrmas. There is the Graphic-area where you add the mechanism elements; the feature tree (actually three trees) to show you the models you have added to your model, and the menu and toolbars for the commands to add the elements.
MotionDesigner is also available as a separate panel.
MechDesigner has three editors in one:
- Model Editor: to show the model as a General Assembly
- Mechanism Editor: to build sub-assemblies on separate planes
- Part Editor: to add sketch geometry to individual parts. It is a Constraint Base Sketch-Editor.
If you are familiar with other CAD Programs, you should not have any difficulties building cam mechanisms with MechDesigner.
